兩岸跨海合作,四地長征巡演。
曾入圍台新藝術獎2005年度十大表演藝術的《曹七巧》,在編導劉亮延今年春天以《白素貞》登陸北京東方先鋒劇場後,甫過半年,便打鐵趁熱,特邀北京純正血統荀派花旦跨海合作,重製兩年前大受爭議也大受好評的《曹七巧》,讓觀眾在不安的年代,於這個特別為了憂鬱年代而書寫的雙人戲中,重尋一點點碎碎念的任性。
無心插柳 引領小劇場張愛玲熱
此次《曹七巧》由劉亮延與魚果共同創立的「李清照私人劇團」呈現,兩位創作者自1999年以來以怪異乖張的作品與行事風格遊走於文學、視覺與表演藝術之間,因此早在李安以《色.戒》驚豔影壇前,劉亮延便以一介男子之身跨越性別,在小劇場中將張愛玲的《金鎖記》大刀闊斧改編,將其中的關鍵角色曹七巧拉出解構,衍生出長達一萬三千字的劇本,於是在2005年首演時便驚艷小劇場圈,連雲門舞集都曾邀演,作為聯歡呈現節目。
此次《曹七巧》貳零零七台海京重製版,不僅在文本上挑戰著演員的功夫,更邀請雲門舞集新秀、亞洲知名編舞家鄭宗龍跨刀,與北京新生代荀派花旦葛璟嬌,以及舞蹈出身的劇團首席演員王世緯聯合主演,並延請年輕鋼琴家陳怡慧全部重新編曲。較之於首演版,音樂、美術與作功全部重製,獻給張愛玲迷、憂鬱病患、以及普遍一般之怨婦心。
北京聖火不來 北京演員自費也要來
此次跨海合作的演員葛璟嬌,乃北京戲劇學院碩士畢業,專攻台灣較為少見的荀派花旦作工,潑辣華麗,可望在小劇場中帶來別樹一格的表演風格;為了來台參與工作演出,甚至自費人民幣一萬元辦理北京方面的相關證照,可見參與之熱忱。
在兩岸通力合作打造下的《曹七巧》,除了於本週台南參與府城戲劇節演出四場外,下週將移師回台北皇冠小劇場再演四場;於十一月更將千里長征遠赴上海與北京參與亞洲當代戲劇節等戲劇節!

演出內容
<曹七巧>一劇2003年完稿,2004年1月於壹詩歌雜誌(台北)刊出,2005年全版首演即獲得當年度台新藝術獎年度TOP9(台北)。編導劉亮延自陳,這是一個特別為了憂鬱年代而書寫的獨腳戲。劇本全長扣除標點1萬三千餘字,連唱帶念除了毫無內容的抱怨外沒有其他。不僅對演員來說是個大挑戰,對觀眾來說更是折磨。但惡之曝光破壞了惡,憂鬱退散在憂鬱經過揭發。於是,我們必須時時演練曹七巧,婆娘的嘴臉,從心底討厭起自己來,變成強壯的花莖,開出朵朵新花。
“Homage to bitches in the 20th century, Invitation for those melancholiacs in the 21st ” signified Taiwanese theater freshman Liu, Liang Yen in his first series works under a theoretical concept “Theater of Nymphomaniac”. Liu explored for many years on his poetry form and ideology until surprisingly the weird social phenomenon reveals the grotesque to him. “Syu, Chun Mei”, a reality TV character who made herself a celebrity but mostly denied by the cultural convention, brought Liu a nymphomaniacal courage during the rehearsal. In 2004, “William Huang” from LA, “Fujung Sister” from Beijing, and the Taiwanese “Syu, Chun Mei”, those denied characters in their real citizenship truly promised the art of performing since Stanislavsky, an idea of whole-new real rebirth on stage. That is what Bakhtin found in Grotesque folklore, an energetic dynamic interactive relation between performer and spectator which artists need to recollect. Rebelais wrote down medieval curses and filthy words, Liu took the prestigious female novelist in Modern Chinese literature, Ellen Chang, and he recreated long-line complain and lament to site a feudal widow.
Ciao, Ci Chao is a monologue piece, situated a widow in her single day complaining. It begins in the morning, ends up in the evening leisure of opium smoking. By 4 scenes, and 16 tracks within the new writing of Chinese 13rd century poetry in its strict rhyme and pattern rules. And also, each song in the play is new composed by reference to the Peking Opera. Ciao presented original scoring, music arrangement, and vocal performance. Costumes in the play are all made by the designer’s own tailoring. Movements are rehearsed under choreographer and director’s work-out. It is more than 90% of this production created in its first presence to the Taiwanese stage.

「李清照私人劇團」(簡稱李私人)2006年一月,由台灣新生代詩人劉亮延與魚果創立。兩位創作者自1999年以來以怪異乖張的作品與行事風格遊走於文學、視覺與表演藝術之間,曾與台東劇團、台南人劇團、台灣沃克劇團、臨界點劇象錄劇團、身體氣象館、體相舞蹈劇場、金枝演社、庭竹藝術舞蹈團、日本新舞踊千鶴流、江之翠劇場等單位合作,跨足編劇、導演、表演、演唱、詞曲創作及美術設計,他們著迷於許多幽微的美以及情感,他們發現舊和新並沒有界線,也絕非切割,更不應用傳統新創來加以理解,他們從日常生活的「細微體」當中經驗過往之灰塵、光影與痕跡等暗陳了未知莫名的能量,這並非為了彰顯或者炫耀歷史因然,而是指向美的獨立存在。
Two young Taiwanese poets decided to launch The Theater company of LeeQingZhao the Private in January 2006, while Liu traveled alone in Tokyo and Yuguo in Cambodia. In the name of Lee Qing Zhao(1084-?), a great female poet in classical Chinese literature history, they persuaded a grotesque manner which in sum, in the name of Lee Qing Zhao are “all achieved”, “her one as wholeness” and nothing left but water and more,
It is a far predicted combination for such artistic team, which grounded in poet’s sensitivity, in designer’s sentimentality, in performer’s delicacy; images, attitudes, tastes they aimed to pushed to the extreme. Issues are bored, manners are mean while they steal time and attention. In the name of Lee Qing Zhao, they frisson on the core weakness of the Chinese classics graveyard.
It is far beyond a theater company, but a revolution of nymphomaniac, melancholian. It marks, “Awake Failure! Awake Despair! Present the world your own privacy, with delightful graceful pretentious confidence, even that you are quite aware, aware of doom. Excited for me, ejaculate it, widows, trollops, idiots please feel no sorrow for me.
